Perched atop one of the highest elevations in the greater Hamptons, the Bridgehampton Residence draws from the region’s shipbuilding heritage, translating its structural logic and craftsmanship into a contemporary luxury retreat. Though compact in footprint, the design expands its spatial experience through terraces, patios, and operable glass wall systems, dissolving boundaries between interior and landscape. The architectural mass is restrained at the ground level and opens above into three distinct wings, creating the impression that the building is blooming from the surrounding landscape.

Positioned at the intersection of efficiency and generosity, the layouts are both compact and expansive, supporting vibrant social life as well as moments of quiet retreat. The open-plan ground floor is organized around communal living, with a piano and library lounge, formal living room, and chef’s kitchen. Above, private quarters are oriented to maximize views and seclusion, and include a primary suite with an adjoining library and five guest suites, each conceived as a restful and intimate environment. Below grade, vaulted spaces accommodate a pool, gym, spa, and three-car garage, integrating wellness and service functions discreetly within the landscape.
